Privacy policy

Last reviewed: October 2026

This website collects the minimum it needs to reply to you, and nothing else. Here it is without the padding: what we keep, why, who sees it and how to ask us to delete it.

Who the controller is

Koalvia Technologies SL, Spanish tax ID (NIF) B26886952, registered office at c/ Arbúcies 17, 08173 Sant Cugat del Vallès (Barcelona), is the controller of the personal data you give us through this website.

For anything related to your data, write to us at david.alonso@koalvia.com.

What data we process

This website has no private area and no database. The only personal data we process is what you send us voluntarily through the contact form: your name, your email address and the content of your message.

Our hosting provider also records, automatically and temporarily, technical data such as the IP address used to access the site, for security reasons and to prevent abuse. We do not use it to identify you and we do not build profiles from it.

What we use it for, and on what legal basis

We use that data solely to read your message and reply to you. We do not send you marketing, we do not share your data with third parties for advertising, and we do not make automated decisions with it.

The legal basis is your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you give by ticking the box on the form, and the implementation of pre-contractual measures at your request (art. 6.1.b) when your enquiry is about a possible project.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to david.alonso@koalvia.com, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.

How long we keep it

We keep your message for as long as the conversation lasts and, afterwards, for as long as needed to handle any liability arising from the contact.

If the enquiry does not lead to a commercial relationship, we delete the data after one year. If it leads to a contract, the retention periods required by tax and commercial law apply.

Who else can access your data

The site is static and the form stores nothing: what you write travels to a function hosted on Cloudflare, which turns it into an email and sends it to our inbox through Resend. These are therefore the providers that may process your data on our behalf:

Cloudflare and Resend are companies based in the United States. Any international transfers are covered by the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission and, where applicable, by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

The icon fonts are loaded from Google Fonts servers, which means your IP address reaches Google when the page opens. We are migrating those icons to self-hosted assets to remove that connection.

What rights you have

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability at any time by writing to david.alonso@koalvia.com and saying which one you want to exercise. We will reply within one month at most.

If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).

Cookies

This website does not use cookies. None of our own, none from third parties, no analytics and no advertising: that is why you will not see a banner asking for permission. We do not store anything in your browser local storage either.

Changes to this policy

If we change the way we process data, we will update this page and the review date shown at the top.
